Heka is a sensory design studio with a focus on sustainability & wellbeing. Founded by designer Lauren Davies and based in London, studio projects include furniture, objects, prints, sensory spaces & experiences and workshops.
Design is used as a means of storytelling, driven by the consistent thread of activating the soul; whether that be the soul of an individual, a collective or unlocking true meaning, depth and direction in the consultancy projects I work on.
Through activating the soul, I believe it is possible to imagine more exciting, sustainable futures and nurture a more profound sense of wellbeing.

I am an ideas person with a wealth of knowledge about and a passion for sustainable innovation, wellbeing and sensory design.
My curious mind seeks to connect the dots between culture and human behaviour and how this might impact the future of branding, colour, consumption, design, flavour, fragrance, ingredients, materials and making. I use my practice to drive innovation, as we shift to more regenerative design paradigms.
