Canopy & Stars opened a ‘treehouse’ hotel in a crane above the Bristol docks and I worked on a sensory design strategy for the interior with Space Doctors.

All products were sourced from B&Q–Canopy & Stars’ material sponsor–so I provided insights into which available materials would bring a sense of the outdoors inside and most profoundly elevate a sense of wellbeing.
My proposal took inspiration from forest bathing, traditional saunas, air-purifying plants, earthing and the healing and mood-altering potential of fragrant plants and natural scents.
